You can fool some people sometimes!

Get up, stand up! Stand up for your rights! In the famous song by Bob Marley and the Wailers, there's a verse that says, "You can fool some people sometimes, but you can't fool all the people all the time!" I hope that works this time too. If America falls for the same republican tricks that worked 4 years ago, then we deserve the disastrous results! Wake up yawl! Just take a look at the smears of Fox TV against John Kerry 4 years ago and the same ones from Fox TV now in 2008.

Right on.

Nothing more empowering than information (well, besides faith).

Still, I watch MSNBC every morning and the same kind of video could be done about them and McCain. My guess is ABC, CBS, PBS, NBC, BBC, and CNN could have similar videos done about them against McCain as well. What about Comedy Central or SNL... was their social commentary in the form of humor fair or balanced? (as for HBO...they should be the democrat campaign HQ)

Everyone is spinning... that is why we have to listen to the men (and woman) speaking.

Obama says what he means and means what he says. Sound bytes wont play him. Thank you for putting the truth out there Speech.

I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight.....

* If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you're 'exotic, different.'

* Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, a quintessential American story.

* If your name is Barack you're a radical, unpatriotic Muslim.

* Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.

* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well grounded.

* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a
state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.

* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian.

* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian.

* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.

* If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state's school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant , you're very responsible.

* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't represent America's.

* If you're husband is nicknamed 'First Dude', with at least one DWI conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

OK, much clearer now.

Hey yawl,

I really hope you actually looked at the entire youtube clip I posted (Especially the second one!) It's not only about the same ole' scare tactics that worked in confusing people in 2004!

But even more importantly, it goes into the difference of Obama's tax plan to MCain's. And almost EVERYONE I personally know (white & black) would be positively effected by Baracks tax plan!

Please spread the video around on your myspace, or facebook etc. It's is a great tool to clear away the Palin hype, McCain campaign smoke & mirrors, and heavy emotions that have come to define this election season.

Peace & strength to everyone,

HA HA HA HA HA Those videos are a JOKE!!!!

And you guys blame the Republicans of scare tactics? This is hilarious!!!

How convenient that the first video doesn't show any of the dozens of top democrats screaming and crying that Sadddam had WMD's before Bush ever even took office! That is real convenient isn't it?

Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Joe Biden, Sandy Berger, Madaline Albright, Harry Reid, John Kerry, John Edwards, Hillary Clinton and on and on all said that without a doubt Saddam was a serious threat that needed to be dealt with.

So Bush comes along and actually has the courage to do it then they all turn on him and America's safety for power!

Shame on you!

Here is a video of Clinton in 1998 explicitly saying Saddam had WMD's.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0f5u_0ytUs&feature=related

Here is a montage of a bunch of democrats talking about Saddam's WMD's before Bush ever did!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5p-qIq32m8&feature=related

Here is Al Gore criticizing George Bush Sr for not dealing with Saddam's WMD's back in 1992!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc1h1wg7LeQ

Let's have some intellectual honesty here folks!

EVERYONE believed Saddam had WMD's and was dangerous way before current Bush was ever even in the White house!

You want to blame someone blame both the Democrats and Republicans!

Islamic Terrorists have attacked Americans during the Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton and Bush jr Administrations and only one actually fought back and you guys show absolutely no gratitude for it.

Fox obviously has commentators who are unashamedly biased however at least they are honest about it.

Fox is fair during their news reporting.

Biased during their commentator programs.

CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC are all biased in their news reporting and commentator programs which is far worse than FOX.

However we must understand that everyone is biased in one way or another. Big deal! It is human nature!

Will Media Report Biden's Miserly Charitable Donations?

By Noel Sheppard

Created 2008-09-12 15:52

Democrat vice presidential nominee Joe Biden gives significantly less money to charity as a percentage of his household income than the average American.

In fact, in the last ten years, Biden and his wife have averaged 98 percent less in charitable donations than the typical household in their income bracket. Such was revealed Friday when Biden released his family's tax returns for the last ten years.

As the Obama/Biden ticket champions itself as the candidates for the little guy and the downtrodden, one has to wonder how much press coverage this story will get. As marvelously reported [1] by the TaxProf Blog Friday (emphasis added, grateful h/t Jennifer Rubin [2]):

Despite income ranging from $210,432 - $321,379 over the ten-year period, the Bidens have given only $120 - $995 per year to charity, which amounts to 0.06% - 0.31% of their income. [...]

It is jarring that a couple earning over $200,000 per year would give as little as $2 per week to charity. This giving compares very unfavorably to John McCain, whose tax returns [3] show that he gave 27.3% - 28.6% of his income to charity in 2006-2007. During the same period, the Obamas' tax returns [4] show that they gave 5.8% - 6.1% of their income to charity.

Perhaps the Obama-Biden campaign needs a new slogan: "Change You Can Believe In (As Long As Someone Else Pays For It)"

Update: Independent Sector reports [5] that 89% of American households contribute to charity, with an average contribution of $1,620 -- 3.1% of income.

IRS statistics reveal that the average taxpayer with AGI over $200,000 makes over $20,000 of charitable contributions.

Wow. The average taxpayer with AGI over $200,000 gives $20,000 to charity? Yet, in the past ten years, the Bidens have averaged $369, or 98 percent less.

One has to think that if the same were true for McCain, this would be front-page, headline news.

Will media be all over this revelation?

Stay tuned. Jim Gregg

BE INFORMED
Most white American news services lie about everything! They don't have a choice because when you can't tell the truth what else can you do. Their slogan is;
"I will always tell you the truth even if I have to lie to do it."

Speech,

You really need to take a harder look at Obama's tax plan. It sure sounds nice to cut taxes for 95% of people but that is just rhetoric. You can't cut taxes on people who don't pay taxes. The lower 35% of Americans don't pay any income tax. Obama wants to give tax credits which you will have to file for. This is income redistribution , i.e socialism.

He also wants to maintain our countries high corporate tax. The reason all our jobs are going overseas is b/c it is too expensive to do business here. Our corporations are at a disadvantage on the global market b/c of our unfriendly corporate tax. Both parties are to blame for not lowering this in the past couple decades. Clinton actually raised it.

We need lower income taxes but more importantly lower corporate taxes so more jobs are created and the cost of goods will decrease.

Just my two cents,
C

Like I said before. You can fool some people sometimes. That view is exactly what BUSH said. Uuum. Where did that get us. You have apparently fell for what I call..."the Okie Doke".

Obama for real change! For average American people.

Anonymous said...

Bush cut taxes but he also increased gov't spending which goes against limited gov't. I think people forgot how much use to come out of their checks during the Clinton years. This is our money that the gov't is taking from us and spending wastefully.

The poor economy has everything to do with being in a war, high oil prices and more importantly the financial corporations making bad loans and poor investments. Bush could not control most of these factors. If anything it is federal regulators faults for not doing their jobs. You can't blame everything on Bush.

I definitely don't agree with alot that Bush has done but you can't just blame him for every little thing.

Dear Speech,

I am so glad to see you showing support for Obama. I think he is really going to do it! :) I have his book Audacity of Hope. I got it after his speech at the Democratic National Convention a few years ago. He is very inspiring. I still have not read his other book yet. I think the republican's old tactics of running smear campaigns is not working like it once did. I think the public has wised up to negative campaigning.
I hope you have been doing good. :) You may not remember me but I live in Bedford, Virginia and was in a terrible car accident involving being hit head-on by a drunk driver. I wrote you and you recommended a pastor in Roanoke that you knew for some of the questions I had. I really appreciate you writing to me. I have been going to my church regularly when I don't have to work. :) I also joined the Red Cross and am being trained in disaster relief which I intend to put to good use.
Thanks for being a positive influence in this world. :) I look forward to hearing more music from you and A.R.
Sincerely,
Adam
